SEPHORA COLLECTION MOONSHADOW BAKED PALETTE "IN THE TROPICS" REVIEW

I recently purchased a Sephora Moonshadow Baked Palette in "In the Tropics" despite some less than awesome reviews saying the shadows were not pigmented. after trying the shadow I must say I completely disagree with those people The shadows were really pigmented when I used them (I applied them over Hard Candy primer.) I purchased this palette on sale for $15 it is normally $27 and is still on sale on the Sephora website. I don't really like the front of the packaging but it has a nice big mirror on the inside and I like how the shadows are raised. I applied the shadow at about 4:45 am and I didn't notice creasing at all throughout the day even when I removed it at about 4:00 pm. The colors were extremely vibrant and looked gorgeous. The shimmer in the shadow is a tad to much for me it is kind of chunky and more glittery than shimmery, but once I was finished it looked beautiful. I the colors made my blue eyes really stand out and people told me how blue my eyes looked all day. It is definitely more of a Green/Blue eyed palette but would still be gorgeous with brown eyes! I forgot to take a picture of the look I did but I'll do a tutorial soon. Overall I think this is a great palette and would definitely recommend it to others. I give this product an 8/10 two points deducted for packaging and the glitter,
Always,
Maisie

EVERDAY MAKEUP ROUTINE

In this post I will be telling you how I do my everyday makeup. Sorry for the not so great quality pics my Camera was not cooperating. Yay for my first real post!

I prep my face with coconut oil instead of moisturizer and primer, because it helps the redness in my face and it's always better to choose something natural. After I've prepped my face I apply foundation, Fit Me by Maybelline #110, all over my face using my beauty blender from target and my stilla #35 foundation brush. When using a beauty blender for best results get the sponge wet so it will not absorb your product, this will also make the application more even and natural looking. I apply the foundation using downward strokes that way peach fuzz doesn't pop up. Once my foundation is applied I set it with a thin translucent powder.

Next I apply concealer, Stilla Stay all Day, to my problem areas. I then apply elf pressed powder to my T-zone and other excessively oily areas, to prevent my skin from looking to dewy.
Now I apply bronzer, ELF using my angle brush from Ulta, under my cheekbones, on my temples, on the sides of my nose, and under my bottom lip. I also apply blush onto my cheekbones.
Next I apply mascara on all of my lashes. Then i use a pencil eyeliner, Rimmel Kajal Eye Liner Pencil, on my waterline but only on the outer corner. After that I use Liquid eyeliner, Maybelline Master duo, on my top lid to create a wing, then I use my ulta liquid eyeliner, on the bottom outer edge. I comb my eyebrows and use my Pallidio pencil in brown to fill them in.

I fix anything that looks out of place and then I'm good to go. I highly recommend the mascara I show in this post it is Volume Accelerator by Rimmel in 003 Extreme Black. I always get a ton of compliments on my lashes when I wear it and I only have to apply about three coats. I wish it came in a waterproof version but other than that I have no complaints. Thanks for reading.
Always,
Maisie
