I have adopted a regular skin care routine that has really helped my rosacea and calmed my stress breakouts. I love reading others skin care routines and have found a few tricks from reading them, so I'm hoping you can find something helpful in mine so let's get right into it.
Coconut Oil
To start my skin care routine I remove all my eye makeup by rubbing about a teaspoon of melted coconut oil onto my eyelid and lashes. I then wipe this away with a towel or a makeup wipe.
Scrubbies
To cleanse my face I use little plastic scrubbies and they have changed my life! I get mine from Walmart and they cost about $2 for a pack of two, you can get them here. My face feels so much softer since I've started using these and they take off all my makeup.
Cleanser
My favorite cleanser is the Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser. It makes your face feel tingly which is the best feeling in the whole world. The charcoal really cleans out clogged pores and after a long day and a full face of makeup, it really cleans me out. I like to apply a squirt of cleanser to my scrubbie then scrub for about two minutes. Then rinse or wash off with a wet towel.
Spot Treatment
After I cleansed my face I apply spot treatment if needed. Proactive's refining mask is the best spot treatment I have ever used. You just apply it when you feel a zit coming on, leave it for ten minutes then wash it off. Any possible zits are gone. This stuff is a life saver.
Vitamin E Pills
After I rinse off any spot treatment I break open a gel vitamin E pill and smear it under my eyes and on my lashes. then I let that soak in. This reduces wrinkles and makes my lashes grow like crazy.
Let It Breathe
It's very important to give your skin some time to breath between cleansing and moisturizing. I like to wait a minimum of ten minutes but I usually give it about an hour. I will usually watch a TV show or catch up on a book then apply moisturizer when I'm done.
Moisturizer
One of my favorite moisturizers is First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. It is one of the only moisturizers that does not break me out. It keeps my skin soft and hydrated and does not make me oily.
I hope that you found something helpful in my routine, comment if you have any go to skin care hacks. Thanks for reading!
May the wings of your eyeliner always be even,
Maisie.
