Hey Babes! Today I decided to put together a bunch of habits that I have tried to implement in my journey of self love. I believe that these things are some habits that everyone can benefit from and will improve your mental health. Most of what I'm about to say isn't an original thought, however I wanted to compile the lessons I've learned from so many people through out my life.
1.Make your bed everyday.
When you make your bed first thing in the morning your day becomes more productive. When my bed is made I feel that once I am back home from whatever I was doing for the day I tend to keep going and work on my to do list instead of crawling into bed and binge watching Netflix until it's time to sleep. When you get things done you feel more accomplished and you in turn feel happier.
2.Take care of yourself everyday.
Whatever it is you need to do something for yourself everyday. I like to have a little bit of pampering at the end of the day, whether it's a face mask or a bath bomb I do something everyday. This is good way to show your self some love and it's hard to be sad when you're loving yourself.
3.become a morning person.
There's something beautiful about living in the world when no one else is awake. Clearer thoughts happen and it's and excellent time to be alone with yourself. When you accomplish more in the morning and can come home to a short to do list you will be so much more productive at work, plus you will have more time for yourself and your family once you're home. Building those relationships will reduce stress and in turn help you be happy.
4.moisturize.
I like to shower at night then right after moisturize like crazy. It is so worth the extra five minutes you will take of your day. This is also a self love thing, when you take care of your body, you will learn to love it.
5.start and end your day with water.
I know it's cliche, but trust me drink more water it is beneficial to everything. Water can boost your immune system. reduce headaches, and even clear up your skin. When you drink water in the morning it will instantly lift your mood and give you a better start to your day. Drinking water at night will help your body heal itself while you are sleeping.
6.reward yourself.
When you accomplish things whether it is a fitness goal or not slapping your obnoxious coworker straight in the face that day you deserve a reward. Just be sure you reward yourself with things that won't sabotage your goals. Choose reward that will only benefit you like a candle or a new eyeshadow.
7.exercise.
Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don't shoot their husbands, they just don't.
